Farmers Marketplace (“FMP”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a local food logistics platform connecting Linn County, Iowa producers with Cedar Rapids area consumers. Our website is located at farmersmarketplace.farm.

When you sign up through our producer or consumer onboarding forms, we collect the information you voluntarily provide, which may include:

• Your name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Farm or operation name (producers)
• What you grow or produce (producers)
• City, township, or neighborhood

We also collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) as part of normal web hosting operations.

How we use your information

We use the information you provide to:

• Contact you about producer onboarding or delivery zone availability
• Prioritize which delivery zones and neighborhoods open first
• Send operational communications related to the marketplace

We do not use your data to build advertising profiles, sell targeted ads, or share your information with third-party marketers.

Who we share your information with

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share it with:

• Supabase — our database provider, used solely to store signup data
• Vercel — our hosting provider, used to serve this website
• Resend — our transactional email provider, used solely to deliver confirmation emails to you after signup

All third-party providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and may not use it for their own purposes.

Transactional emails

When you submit a signup form, we send a one-time confirmation email to the address you provided. This email confirms your spot on the waitlist and explains next steps. We may also send you a follow-up when delivery opens in your area. These are not marketing emails — you will not be added to any newsletter or promotional list. You may request removal from future communications at any time by contacting us.

SMS communications

If you provide a phone number, we may use it to contact you about marketplace onboarding or delivery updates. You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. Standard carrier message and data rates may apply.

Data retention

We retain your signup information for as long as it is needed to manage your onboarding or delivery zone notification. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal information we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the website.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers. Standard session and performance cookies may be set by our hosting infrastructure.

Changes to this policy
